🔵 NATOS 🔴 RUSFOR ⚫ REBFOR

MISSION OVERVIEW

The second operation of the SURVIVAL SERIES brought three factions into the battlefield under challenging tactical circumstances.

🔵 NATOS entered the operation facing difficulties with intelligence documentation, maintaining offensive momentum, and transporting resources. As the engagement progressed, the faction demonstrated significant improvements in communication, teamwork, and coordinated battlefield movement.

🔴 RUSFOR entered aggressively, delivering comprehensive intelligence reports, recovering valuable resources, and advancing against heavy opposing fire. Its contractors demonstrated determination in capturing territory, defending positions, and securing downed pilots.

⚫ REBFOR utilized favorable elevated terrain and established defensive positions that presented significant tactical challenges to opposing forces. Rebel contractors demonstrated aggressive territorial capture, resource recovery, and the ability to recruit contractors from opposing factions.

The operation consisted of six missions involving reconnaissance, resource collection, territorial capture, defensive operations, pilot recovery, and extraction.

RESOURCES. INTELLIGENCE. TERRITORY.
COOPERATION. SURVIVAL.

SCOUT & INTEL COLLECTION

The opening reconnaissance phase immediately exposed significant differences in intelligence gathering and reporting.

RUSFOR came out hot and heavy.

Multiple intelligence reports arrived from contractors operating throughout the battlefield. These reports included locations, clear photographs, contractor identification, and descriptions of valuable assets.

RUSFOR demonstrated the strongest intelligence performance of the operation.

NATOS contractors submitted numerous photographs documenting suspicious items, valuable assets, and resources. However, many submissions lacked the supporting information necessary to make the intelligence actionable.

REBFOR experienced similar difficulties. Although rebel contractors submitted intelligence, many reports lacked critical details, including locations, identification, descriptions, dates, and times.

These shortcomings reduced the operational value of the intelligence and complicated the identification of essential survival resources.

RUSFOR149INTEL POINTS
REBFOR33INTEL POINTS

The opening mission demonstrated that gathering intelligence and delivering actionable intelligence are two different objectives.

RESOURCES & ENGINEERING

As the operation progressed into resource collection, each faction demonstrated different tactical strengths.

NATOS performed well during the gathering mission, recovering resources throughout the battlefield and successfully transporting them to a secure location.

RUSFOR conducted tactical resource recovery operations, retrieving numerous mission objectives and securing them at its designated spawn.

REBFOR benefited from its elevated positioning, utilizing the terrain advantage to locate and collect significant quantities of resources.

During the subsequent control and defense operations, resource transportation and security became increasingly important.

RUSFOR continued accumulating valuable components while maintaining control of its positions.

REBFOR successfully consolidated resources and defended multiple structures.

NATOS encountered difficulties transporting collected resources to its designated control point, limiting its ability to complete associated mission objectives.

The final component recovery scores reflected these differences.

REBFOR135COMPONENT POINTS

The battlefield was beginning to shift.

THE ALLIANCE

One of the most consequential developments of The Betrayal was the cooperation between NATOS and RUSFOR.

Although competing as separate factions, both forces recognized the tactical difficulties presented by REBFOR's elevated terrain and established defensive positions.

The rebel forces occupied strategically advantageous ground and presented a determined opposition.

NATOS and RUSFOR demonstrated cooperation and teamwork throughout the engagement, coordinating their efforts against the opposing rebel forces.

Communication, coordinated movement, and cooperation across faction lines became increasingly important as the operation progressed.

By the final stages, NATOS demonstrated substantially improved battlefield cohesion, while RUSFOR continued its aggressive advancement and determined territorial defense.

The cooperation between the two factions contributed to their battlefield successes.

THE ALLIANCE CHANGED THE WAR.

THE BATTLE FOR THE CITY

Territorial control became a major objective during Missions Three and Four.

🔵 NATOS successfully captured the main fortress but struggled to maintain forward momentum. A significant number of contractors remained concentrated around the secured position rather than continuing their advance toward additional objectives.

🔴 RUSFOR captured structures near its spawn and continued advancing aggressively against heavy opposing fire.

The faction sustained significant sacrifices but successfully gained ground and maintained control of its captured positions.

During the defensive phase, RUSFOR refused to surrender its territory, holding positions while continuing to accumulate resources.

⚫ REBFOR launched aggressive offensive operations, rapidly capturing two locations during the opening stages of the territorial mission.

Although the rebels failed to recover the fourth flag, they demonstrated strong territorial control and later consolidated their defense around three structures.

REBFOR fought determinedly to maintain these positions, utilizing its terrain advantages and established defensive locations.

The territorial objectives produced the following results:

NATOS20FLAG POINTS
RUSFOR120FLAG POINTS
REBFOR100FLAG POINTS

The battle demonstrated the importance of maintaining offensive momentum after capturing an objective and the difficulty of advancing against determined defenders occupying favorable terrain.

THE FINAL CONTRACT

The final two missions shifted the operation from territorial control to locating, securing, and extracting downed pilots.

🔵 NATOS

NATOS demonstrated significant improvements in cooperation and communication during the search and rescue mission.

Contractors successfully established cooperation with a downed pilot and coordinated their efforts around the rescue objective.

During the final extraction mission, NATOS advanced as a cohesive fighting force, supporting one another and covering significant ground while moving toward the objective.

This represented one of the faction's strongest performances of the operation.

PILOT LOCATED: 1

🔴 RUSFOR

RUSFOR successfully located and secured two members of the downed crew.

Contractors maintained control of both pilots, provided medical care, and restored their mobility.

RUSFOR entered the final engagement having demonstrated aggressive battlefield advancement, determined territorial defense, and successful pilot recovery.

PILOTS LOCATED AND SECURED: 2

⚫ REBFOR

REBFOR approached the final missions through strategic adaptation.

Rather than relying exclusively on its existing faction strength, rebel forces successfully recruited three contractors from opposing factions.

These conversions strengthened REBFOR's position and directly influenced battlefield operations.

During the extraction mission, REBFOR executed a coordinated fighting withdrawal, moving collectively from position to position while maintaining control of valuable resources.

The rebels continued resisting opposing forces while protecting their assets.

OPERATIONAL SAFETY NOTICE

The final extraction battle was stopped 15 minutes early because of safety concerns involving the battlefield configuration and extraction location.

The mission could not reach its originally intended conclusion.

Ultimate Pilot Extraction: Not completed or verified before the operation was stopped.

REBFOR — SURVIVAL

REBFOR fought a difficult defensive battle throughout The Betrayal.

The faction utilized elevated terrain, established defensive positions, and aggressive territorial operations to maintain its battlefield presence.

Resource recovery proved to be one of its strongest capabilities.

Rebel contractors successfully recovered three medical kits, securing valuable survival resources.

MEDICAL KITS RECOVERED: 3 // MEDICAL KIT SCORE: 60 POINTS

REBFOR also demonstrated the importance of negotiation and faction loyalty during the final missions.

Three contractors were successfully converted from opposing factions.

FACTION CONVERSION SCORE: 75 POINTS

During the final extraction battle, REBFOR maintained an organized fighting withdrawal while protecting its resources and resisting advancing forces.

Although the operation was stopped before its planned conclusion, rebel forces demonstrated disciplined defensive movement and effective battlefield coordination.

FINAL ASSESSMENT

RUSFOR WINS GAME TWO: THE BETRAYAL.

RUSFOR demonstrated the strongest overall performance in intelligence reporting, aggressive territorial advancement, resource security, and pilot recovery.

The faction's comprehensive intelligence reports provided Command with valuable battlefield information, while its contractors aggressively captured and defended strategic positions.

Securing two downed pilots, providing medical care, and restoring their mobility represented a significant operational achievement.

REBFOR demonstrated strong resource recovery capabilities, aggressive territorial capture, and determined defensive operations.

The faction effectively utilized elevated terrain and strategic positioning to challenge opposing forces.

Its ability to recruit contractors from opposing factions and execute a disciplined fighting withdrawal demonstrated adaptability and effective battlefield decision-making.

NATOS demonstrated significant improvement throughout the operation.

Although early missions revealed weaknesses in intelligence reporting, forward momentum, and resource transportation, the faction developed stronger communication and coordination as the day progressed.

During the final two missions, NATOS contractors demonstrated exceptional teamwork and advanced together as a cohesive fighting force.

Command recognizes the cooperation between NATOS and RUSFOR throughout the engagement.

Their combined efforts were instrumental in overcoming tactical disadvantages against a determined REBFOR force occupying elevated terrain and fortified defensive positions.

Command believes that, had the final engagement continued, NATOS and RUSFOR would have successfully achieved their ultimate objective.

However, safety concerns involving the final battle location and extraction point required Command to stop the engagement 15 minutes early.

The distinction between battlefield performance and final mission completion must therefore be recognized.

When the operation ended, the results were clear:

NATOS demonstrated the power of communication and teamwork.

REBFOR demonstrated the value of strategic positioning and adaptability.

RUSFOR dominated intelligence reporting and pilot recovery.
