Each game is a one-day, mission-driven, scenario-based experience designed for players who want the intensity of MIL-SIM without the cost, travel, or three-day commitment.
“I want to go to a MILSIM one day… but right now, I don’t have the time. The cost of leaving family and work for three days? Not doable. Local fields are getting old, and I’d like something more advanced. But MILSIM feels intimidating — I don’t have a team, and the thought of being yelled at by some commander isn’t my idea of fun. I want the option to take a break without letting anyone down.”
That’s why ITA created Mini-Sim and Soft-Sim events. In a single day, we deliver a more involved, higher-intensity, mission-driven, scenario-based role-play experience than what most local fields offer — for a fraction of the price and commitment of a MILSIM. With all respect to the MILSIM community, we exist in its shadow — inspired by its intensity, but built to be more approachable and accessible.
Every event features a unique theme and mission set. Players receive a confidential packet with objectives, intel, and hidden clues that shape the direction of the game. “It’s a lot like Oregon Trail — success or failure pushes the mission in new directions.” That means no two games ever play the same way.
Sessions run two to three times per day, with an hour break between. “Players can recharge, reload, grab food, or just hang out before diving back into the next session.” On-site lunch plates ($10) and MREs ($15) are available, or you’re welcome to bring your own food and make yourself comfortable set up awnings and picnic in the yard.
We respect role-play and kit variety. “Wear what you want — these are end-of-the-world scenarios, so dress up for the big dance.” Whether you’re geared toward MILSIM-style play or just want the thrill of the fight, you’ll find your place here. Strategic players run as NATO or DEFOPS, while fast-action fighters join CIVMOB. This balance creates a symbiotic mix of chaos and cohesion that challenges every style of play.
Our field spans 2.5 acres — half structured with roads and cover, half lightly wooded with natural trails. “The games play fast and hot — you’ll be back in the fight quickly with spawn rules designed to maximize action.”
Guests and families are welcome. “Bring your crew — hang out in the picnic area, relax in the safe area on the property, or explore nearby attractions like Meerkerk Gardens , Fort Casey, Doubble Bluff Beach or many other local wonders while the games are running.”
