In-Theatre Airsoft

Game Rules and Regulations

ITA Area / Staging Area Protocol:

  • The safe area/staging area is clearly marked with yellow tape and located between check-in and the field.

  • No magazines are allowed in weapons while in the safe/staging area.

  • All replicas must be safe, clear, and inert when leaving the field. This means:
    – Remove your magazine
    – Fire a couple of shots in a safe direction to ensure the weapon is unloaded
    – Place the replica on “safe”
    – Attach a barrel blocker

  • No horseplay is allowed in the safe/staging area.

TA Area / Staging Area Protocol:

  • No uncovered Airsoft replicas outside the check-in entrance. All replicas must be concealed in a case, bag, or box until inside the designated check-in area.

  • No outside ammo allowed. Field ammo only. Do not bring any other BBs to this property. Please leave all outside BBs at home.

  • Replicas may not be loaded anywhere except the field. This is a zero-exception policy.

  • Magazines may be loaded with BBs in the safe/staging area, but magazines must not be inserted into replicas.

  • Do not reuse BBs.

FPS Rules:

*All FPS IS MEASURED WITH .20g BB’s HOP UP OFF BY FIELD ADMIN.*

Rules of Engagement:

  1. Call your hits. When you're hit, loudly call out “Hit!” and raise your hand or weapon. Integrity is the foundation of Airsoft, and calling your hits keeps the game fair and fun for everyone.

  2. Dead men don’t talk. If you're out, you may not communicate with active players about gameplay, enemy positions, or objectives. This keeps the game realistic and fair.

  3. No blind fire. You must be aiming down your sights and able to see your target when firing. Shooting without seeing your target is dangerous and strictly prohibited.

  4. Bang-bang/safety kills are not enforceable, but they may be used as a courtesy. Players may call themselves out if they feel it’s appropriate, but no one is required to accept or honor a bang-bang call.

  5. No physical contact. Pushing, grabbing, or any form of physical aggression will result in immediate removal from the game and may result in a permanent ban.

  6. Respect minimum engagement distances. These are based on your weapon class and FPS rating. Failing to observe safe distances can result in penalties or removal from play.

  7. No overshooting. Once a player is hit and calls “Hit!”, you must stop shooting. A single, well-placed shot is all that’s needed — excessive shots are not tolerated.

  8. No verbal abuse or threats. Aggressive language, threats, or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. Treat staff and players with respect at all times.

Hit Rules:

  1. ALL HITS COUNT.
This includes hits to gear, weapons, and ricochets. Ricochets count as hits.

  2. When hit, call it loudly.
Yell “HIT!”, raise your arms and weapon in the air, and call out “dead man” while immediately moving out of the line of fire.

  3. Dead players do not talk.
Once you're out, you may not communicate with other players — except to let them know that you’re hit.

  4. Respawn rules will be explained before each game.

  5. Do not call other players’ hits.
If you notice someone not calling their hits or breaking the rules, please inform an admin. Do not confront the player directly.
