RUSFOR
RUSFOR entered the Contract Zone as a designated group of special operators drawn from different factions of the Russian forces.
Normally operating as independent cells, these contractors came together specifically to compete in The Contract.
The operation gave RUSFOR an opportunity to combine its separate cells into a single operational force and compete for resources, intelligence, territory, and mission objectives across the Contract Zone.

RUSFOR entered the operation significantly outnumbered by NATO. To offset that disadvantage, the faction began from slightly elevated terrain.
Almost immediately, both factions became locked in a prolonged firefight. RUSFOR was unable to break away in sufficient numbers to pursue the intelligence objectives scattered across the battlefield.
Mission One was a failure for RUSFOR, although limited intelligence was still recovered and submitted during the operation.
RUSFOR demonstrated one of its strongest capabilities through negotiation and political strategy.
Despite beginning the operation in direct conflict with NATO, RUSFOR successfully negotiated a tentative peace agreement and established an alliance.
That decision fundamentally changed the battlefield.
Working together, RUSFOR and NATO redirected manpower toward the embedded REBFOR forces and captured the majority of the town.
Control of the city became essential to the continued success of both allied factions.
RUSFOR performed strongly in resource recovery and engineering preparation. Recovered materials were consistently moved back to the secure spawn zone, preventing opposing factions from recapturing them.
By the final engineering phase, RUSFOR had secured the required materials, positioned itself at the detonation site, and accumulated five additional fuel canisters.

The faction's opening intelligence operation was unsuccessful, but its performance improved substantially as the operation progressed.
Negotiations with NATO became one of the most consequential developments of the operation. The alliance enabled both factions to capture the town and continue pursuing objectives that neither side was positioned to accomplish alone.
RUSFOR's greatest technical failure occurred during the compound mixture itself. However, its strategic preparation compensated for that failure.
The package was delivered. The fuel containers were on site. The detonator was activated.
