REBFOR
REBFOR entered the Contract Zone as the embedded rebel forces already living in and around the city.
Unlike NATO and RUSFOR, REBFOR did not infiltrate the area as an outside force. They were already there.
Their mission was simple:
SURVIVE AND KILL THE OPPOSING FORCES.
- Began with the strongest territorial position
- Maintained a 360-degree defensive perimeter
- Effectively moved medical supplies throughout the battlefield
- Captured substantial enemy food and resources
- Nine REBFOR operators survived to the end
- Poor intelligence reporting despite strong initial positioning
- Consolidated intelligence caches were later captured
- Lost control of the town after NATO/RUSFOR alliance
- Faction members were bribed and changed loyalties
- Reported Life Coin score was invalidated by Command
REBFOR began the operation from the strongest initial position of the three factions. The force was already embedded within the city and controlled a large portion of the battlefield.
Despite this advantage, intelligence handling was poor. Operators frequently removed physical intelligence from the field and consolidated it in centralized locations rather than documenting and reporting it to Command.
As REBFOR positions fell later in the operation, those intelligence caches became easier for opposing forces to recover.
REBFOR entered the operation with only four lives available to each operator.
The faction compensated through strong reserves of medical supplies and an effective ability to move those resources across the battlefield.
As the operation progressed, however, REBFOR numbers steadily declined. Operators were killed, bribed, and pulled away from the faction.
REBFOR recovered engineering components and equipment despite not being tasked with the same final compound preparation mission assigned to NATO and RUSFOR.
REBFOR began with a substantial territorial advantage and control over much of the city.
That advantage began to collapse after NATO and RUSFOR established their tentative alliance.
The combined forces pushed against REBFOR positions, captured the town, and reduced the rebel faction's access to territory, intelligence, and resources.
A surviving group of REBFOR operators reported 134 captured enemy Life Coins.
Command determined that members of the faction had entered protected NATO and RUSFOR spawn and medical areas and removed Life Coins from medical IV bottles.
The reported captures were ruled invalid.
REBFOR entered The Contract with the strongest initial battlefield position of the three factions.
The rebel force held territory, defensive depth, medical reserves, and access to a significant portion of the battlefield.
However, poor intelligence handling, loss of personnel, shifting loyalties, and the NATO/RUSFOR alliance gradually dismantled that advantage.
Nine REBFOR operators survived through the end of the operation.
The faction's most serious failure occurred after the operation, when the reported Life Coin total was determined to include resources removed from protected spawn and medical areas.
The entire 1,340-point Life Coin claim was invalidated.
REBFOR entered the Contract Zone with the territory, resources, manpower position, and defensive advantage of an embedded force.
Nine remained when the Contract ended.
